[Life of Sir William Blackstone / F. Coleridge] [ca. 1809]

Sir William Blackstone was noted for his Commentaries on the Laws of England, first published between 1765-1769. This ms. copy of the life of Blackstone is in the hand of Francis George Coleridge and was in his copy of the Laws (12th ed., 1793-1795) now held by Smith College. This copy has Coleridge's signature, date and bookplate, as well as annotations and corrections by him.
